A.I. Municipal Bus

For my masters thesis, I wanted to use design to create a better public transit experience. My goals were to create a safer, more pleasurable, and inclusive system that utilizes A.I. to massively increase efficiency.

My research and design development focused on the vehicle itself, since that is where the user will most likely interact with the system. The open floor plan of the interior allows users full view of their surroundings and interact with their community. Folding seats, automated ramp, and wide main doors enable all users to access the vehicle with little to no assistance. Future wheel technology is utilized to assist the A.I. in determining road conditions as well as maneuver more efficiently in tight spaces.
